EgyptFM calls on Tunisia to respect the will of Egyptian people

The spokesman of the Foreign Ministry said that the internal situation of Tunisia is witnessing a lot of developments, but, Cairo is refrained to issue a comment and does not intend to change that.

He urged the Tunisian authorities to respect the will of the Egyptian people expressed as of June 30, 2013, especially in light of the excellent relations that combine the two peoples in Egypt and Tunisia.

He pointed out that the Egyptian people are the owners of the inherent jurisdiction in mapping the future.

It is worth mentioned that the Egyptian Ambassador to Tunisia, Ayman Musharafa was recalled to Cairo by the Egyptian government after the Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki demanded the release of deposed president Mohamed Morsi.
