Serbian president visits Russia

imgSerbian President Tomislav Nikolić will be in Russia on Tuesday and Wednesday, where he will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Nikolić is also scheduled to take part in a Russian-Serbian investment conference in Moscow.

Among other issues, the two presidents will talk about bilateral relations between Serbia and Russia, progress in construction works on the South Stream gas pipeline, Russian investments in Serbian Railways, existing and potential investments in Serbia, Serbian exports to Russia and the current situation in the world, the president’s press office announced.

This will be the fifth meeting between Nikolić and Putin since the Serbian president took office in May last year.

In May this year, a declaration on strategic partnership between the two countries was signed in Sochi.
