Serbia, Bosnia seek improvement of military cooperation

Serbian Defense Minister Nebojsa Rodić and his Bosnian counterpart Zekerijah Osmić say there is “room for improvement of military-economic cooperation.”

At a meeting in Belgrade on Thursday, Rodić and Osmić expressed satisfaction with the cooperation conducted so far in the defence sector, stating that there is ground for further improvement, the Serbian Ministry of Defense said.

Rodić underscored that the exchange of experiences and engagement of teachers in national training centres in Belgrade and Butmir would create better basis for potential joint engagement in peacekeeping missions under the EU and UN auspices.

He underscored the willingness to discuss the possibility of realization of joint simulation or field military exercises, both on the bilateral basis and with participation of neighboring armies in the region.
