Slovenian President to visits Turkey for enhancing bilateral relations

Slovenian President Borut Pahor is preparing to pay a two-day official visit to Turkey upon the invitation of his Turkish counterpart, Abdullah Gül, to boost the relations that have been flourishing due to a series of official visits in recent years.

The Slovenian president’s visit will take place Jan. 14-6. Following an official meeting with Turkish officials in Ankara on Wednesday, Pahor is expected to make a speech during the Foreign Ministry’s sixth annual Ambassadors Conference later that day.

The Slovenian president is scheduled to attend the Slovenia Investment Summit, which will host Turkish and Slovenian businesspeople in İstanbul on Thursday.
