Ukraine opposition pledges to continue protests

The Ukrainian opposition called on the people to hold a public meeting in Independence Square today at 18:00 by local time.
Leader of “Svoboda” party Oleg Tyagnibok addressed the people on his party’s Twitter page: “Come to the square at 18.00! We will march along the central streets after the meeting and take other steps. 100 percent of the national mobilization! Everyone come to Kiev! Fate of the state will be finally solved today!”

Deaths of two protesters aggravated the situation in Ukraine. Three opposition parties “Batkivshina”, “UDAR” and “Svoboda” issued a joint statement and laid responsibility for the deaths on the president
