Kerry to meet Ukraine opposition leaders

imgUS Secretary of State John Kerry said he plans to meet Ukraine opposition leaders during the Munich Security Conference.

He expressed concerns about the situation in the country, saying “we want to help Ukraine,” in particular in the areas of human rights and freeing political prisoners.

Berlin and Washington were working “shoulder to shoulder” on Ukraine, Kerry said a joint press conference with German Foreign Minister Frank—Walter Steinmeier.
