Russia recalls ambassador to Ukraine

Russia has recalled its ambassador to Ukraine, as it fails to recognize the parliament’s decision to remove President Viktor Yanukovych.

Ambassador Mikhail Zurabov will travel back to Moscow for “consultations”.

It is also now in question whether Russia will go forth with the financial assistance deal to Ukraine, which was signed by the presidents Vladimir Putin and Viktor Yanukovych in December.
