Bulgaria, Montenegro discuss bilateral ties

Montenegro’s Prime Minister, Milo Djukanovic, invited the Bulgarian business to invest in his country at a meeting with President Rosen Plevneliev.

The Bulgarian head of state is on an official two day visit to the western Balkan country.

Djukanovic outlined the main priorities of Montenegro as infrastructure, tourism, and the energy sector. He said that cooperation between Podgorica and Sofia will be intensive, and the opening of a Montenegrin embassy in Bulgaria speaks for these intentions.

The two countries will seek cooperation in transnational infrastructure projects.
