Tunisia rejects foreign intervention on Libyan territory

Tunisia refuses any foreign intervention in Libya, Foreign Affairs Minister Mongi Hamdi said Monday at the opening of the Annual Conference of Heads of Diplomatic Missions.

He expressed wish that all Libyans would reach an internal political solution preserving sovereignty of the Libyan territory.

Hamdi said that the security and political commissions in charge of following up Libya’s crisis have recently held a meeting. They will submit the results of their works to Tunisia, which in turn, will draw up a report and file it this month to the Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Libya’s Neighbouring Countries scheduled in Cairo.

Meetings during which decisions will be made regarding the development of co-operation and co-ordination in the fields of sharing information and intelligence among neighbouring countries so as to tackle the problem of terrorism.
