Four soldiers dead after blast in north-west Pakistan

At least four soldiers were killed today when a vehicle of the security forces was hit by a roadside improvised explosive device (IED) in Pakistan’s restive northwestern tribal region.
The remote-controlled IED hit the vehicle, killing four troops in Urmagai area of central Kurram Agency bordering Afghanistan this morning, officials said.
Soon after the attack, security forces cordoned off the area and started search operation.
The explosion destroyed the vehicle.
