Algeria condemns Turkey attack, calls for cooperation against terrorism

Algeria on Sunday condemned the attack that targeted a wedding ceremony in Turkey, while urging the international community for wider cooperation in the fight against terrorism.
The Algerian Foreign Ministry described the terrorist attack that hit Turkey on Saturday night as a “perfidious act.”
“Algeria has been constantly urging for coordinating efforts and intensifying international cooperation to fight this evil that threatens the security and stability of peoples and countries of the whole world,” the ministry said.
At least 51 people were killed when a teenager committed a suicide attack at a wedding ceremony in Turkey’s southeastern province of Gaziantep, near the Syria border, local media reported.
