Haradinaj: Today’s agreement is a great achievement, the agreement contains a de facto acceptance of independence

The President of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramuš Haradinaj, assessed that today’s agreement in Brussels is a great achievement and that the agreement contains Serbia’s acceptance of the de facto independence of Kosovo, reports Reporters.

Haradinaj stated that the agreement on the acceptance of the European proposal for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia is a great achievement and the actual acceptance of Kosovo’s independence.

“This brings back political and security normality, the prospect of Euro-Atlantic integration and new recognitions,” Haradinaj wrote on Facebook.

He believes that the next steps and meetings that will be held for the implementation of the proposal are of great importance, reports Kosovo Online.

Equally important remains the next phase of discussions on other open issues, Haradinaj stated and added that I want him to believe that the best solutions will be found.

“This would also close the chapter of ‘de jure’ recognition of Kosovo and Serbia!”, he wrote.
