Overview
The southern arena: The IDF integrated ground maneuver continued in Gaza City and the
north of the Gaza Strip; a number of attacks were also carried out in the central and southern
Gaza Strip. The centers of activity included the neighborhoods of Zeitoun, Jabaliya, Beit Lahia
and Rafah. Hamas’ use of civilian residences and facilities, including hospitals, for terrorist
activity, was exposed several times. During the past day, Israeli Air Force aircraft made about
250 sorties. In the evening, two rockets were launched at the center of the country. A short
time later, aircraft attacked and destroyed the launcher.
