Iran, China Seeking to Expand Cultural Ties

A03211333.jpgTEHRAN (FNA) – The Iranian Consul General in Hong Kong, Abdullah Nekounam, advocates the development of inter-cultural cooperation with the Chinese.

“The presence of Iranian cultural groups in Hong Kong can pave the way for introducing Iran’s ancient history and civilization to the Chinese,” press tv quoted Nekounam as saying on Wednesday.

A group of Iranian artists who are currently in Hong Kong to exhibit their works have expressed their readiness to cooperate with the country’s cultural centers.

Iranian artists are planning to hold an exhibition in Hong Kong in December.
