Council for Campaign against Money Laundering Holds Meeting

A041423011.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- Economic and finance minister presided over the first meeting of the Supreme Council for Campaign against Money Laundering here Saturday.

In the meeting a draft law to fight money laundering which is to be submitted to the cabinet was considered and discussed, an IRNA report said.

The draft in 12 articles and 7 notes was approved by the parliament on January 22, 2008 and was sent to the economic and finance ministry.

The members of the Supreme council for Campaign against money laundering are ministers of Economy and Finance, Commerce, Intelligence and the Central Bank governor and its secretariat is in the Economic and Finance Ministry.
