Blast near Afghan governor’s office wounds 7

KABUL (Reuters) – A bomb planted on a bicycle went off near the governor’s office in the southern Afghan province of Ghazni on Thursday, wounding seven people, an official said.

Security is tight across Afghanistan on the seventh anniversary of the September 11 attacks, as violence hits the highest level this year since the 2001 U.S.-led invasion.
