EU-Western Balkans conference to take place on Dec. 9 in Brussels

An EU-Western Balkans conference about the economic crisis, regional cooperation and EU membership perspective is to take place in Brussels on December 9.

The conference has been recently suggested by Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt. It will be unveiled by Bildt, Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos, European Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn and Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council Hido Biscevic.

Serbian deputy prime minister in charge of European integration Bozidar Djelic said he had accepted the invitation to speak on behalf of the Western Balkans in the economy and finance section of the discussion.
