Iran to Join Asian Development Bank

TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Cabinet ministers approved of Iran’s membership in the Asian Development Bank.

The Iranian cabinet vested authority in the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance to take the required measures to join the Asian Bank of Development while observing the relevant national rules and regulations, the Secretariat of the Government’s Information Dissemination Council reported.

The approval was communicated by First Vice-President Parviz Dawoodi on January 15, 2007.
