Brammertz report on Serbia won’t affect the country’s EU path, says head of council for cooperation with the court

Serbia’s head of council for cooperation with the court, Rasim Ljajić, says he expects “a realistic” report from Chief Hague Prosecutor Serge Brammertz, that will not block Serbia’s EU path.

Brammertz is due to submit his regular report to the UN Security Council in June.

Ljajić says his optimism was based on “fruitful and good cooperation when it comes to availability of archives and freeing witnesses of obligations to guard state secrets”.
