Albanian PM nominates two new ministers

Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha nominated two new ministers on Tuesday.

Eduard Halimi was named the new minister of justice, and Aldo Bumçi the new minister of culture and tourism.

Both posts had been vacant since their predecessors ran for mayoral slots in the May 8 local elections.

The two nominations are expected to pass through parliament before the summer recess in August. That will complete the government reshuffle following the departures of former Interior Minister Lulzim Basha and Culture and Tourism Minister Ferdinand Xhaferaj.
