Deputy Economy Minister to Replace Iran’s UN Envoy

TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations Organization Mohammad Javad Zarif will be replaced by deputy economy and finance minister and head of investment organization Mohammad Khaza’ee, an informed source said here on Wednesday.

The source told FNA that the final decision in this regard is yet to be made.

An informed source Tuesday told FNA that Iran would replace its permanent representative to the United Nations Organization in the near future.

“As Mohammad Javad Zarif Khonsari’s mission is about to end, his successor will soon be nominated and dispatched to New York,” he added.
