Albanian Prime Minister will visit Skopje in October

Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha will pay an official visit to Macedonia by the end of October.

Berisha was supposed to visit Macedonia in May 2010 after an invitation by Macedonian Prime Minister Gruevski but the trip was cancelled due to his busy schedule and the political crisis in Albania, his cabinet said.

The main topics of discussion between him and his host, Macedonian Premier Nikola Gruevski, are expected to be acceleration of the process allowing free movement of citizens from both countries, which might involve only ID being necessary at borders, Macedonia’s Euro-Atlantic perspectives, improvement of bilateral and regional economic cooperation as well as implementation of the Ohrid Framework Agreement.
