Fule urged for talks between Albanian parties on president election

Stefan Fule urged on Thursday for talks between the Albanian political parties regarding the election of the new president.

“The selection for the office of the president should respect the spirit of the constitution, which says that it should be a person who reflects the unity of the people of Albania,” Fule said in a joint press conference with Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

Albania will elect the head of state at the end of May.
