Turkey to continue joining EU if supported

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Monday that his country will continue the EU integration process, if the European Union supports the accession,

“However, if the EU does not show any initiative in this matter, Turkey will not insist and everyone will continue as before,” Davutoglu said.

According to him, Turkey is not afraid of losing any country as a strategic partner. More and more countries are trying not to disrupt their relationship with Turkey and seeking to expand their partnership with the country, the minister noted.
