Georgia considers expanding military cooperation with Azerbaijan and Turkey

Georgia considers the possibility of expanding military cooperation with Azerbaijan and Turkey, Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Alasania said on Tuesday.

“The format of the triangular relationship already exists and we intend to expand it in the direction of implementing new joint military exercises,” he said.

“While negotiations are underway, the process for planning the exercises has not started yet. However, the prospects are good in this respect,” Alasania said.
