Iraqi VP Arrives in Tehran

A0111307.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iraq’s Vice-President Tariq al-Hashimi, heading a delegation, arrived in Tehran Sunday morning.

Upon his arrival, the Iraqi vice-president and his entourage were received by Iranian deputy foreign minister Baqeri.

Tariq al-Hashimi is due to attend a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Parviz Davoudi in a few hours.

During his trip, Tariq al-Hashimi will also meet with different high-ranking Iranian officials to discuss bilateral ties and exchange views about regional developments and other issues of mutual interest.
