Iran’s new President aims to to boost relations with Turkey

Iran’s new administration will boost bilateral relations with Turkey, Iran’s president Hassan Rouhani underlined during a phone talk with Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Mehr news agency reported.

Iran will cooperate with Turkey in regional and global issues Rouhani said, adding that, “we all should effort for restoring peace and stability in the region”.

He expressed hope that Iran-Turkey cooperation would prevent violence in the region.

Edrogan, in his turn, on behalf of Turkey’s government and people congratulated Rouhani on his election as president, and expressed interest in visiting Iran.

He also called for further development of Iran-Turkey relations in all issues.
