Iran Appoints New Ambassador to Vietnam

Proposed by foreign minister and approved by president Ahmadinejad, Seyed Javad Ghavam Shahidi was assigned as Iran’s ambassador to Hanoi.According to a statement released by the Foreign Ministry’s Information and Press Bureau, Ghavam Shahidi has already served in different posts at the ministry of foreign affairs, including Iran’s charge d’affair in Dublin and Kuala Lumpur and president of the Iranian Organization of International Bodies and Circles.
