NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg Thursday stressed that NATO would continue its strong political and practical support for Ukraine.
He also expressed concern about the recent escalation of violence in the country, after talks with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, according to a NATO statement.
“We are very much concerned about the situation and also by the continued support of Russia to the separatists,” said the NATO chief.
Stoltenberg repeated his call for the ceasefire to be respected, and stressed that “NATO is supporting all efforts to try to find a peaceful solution, based on the Minsk agreements.”
