Iran, Indonesia Stress Formation of Cooperation Commission

A03292227.jpgIranian and Indonesian presidents in a meeting in New York Wednesday afternoon underlined the need for the rapid formation of the two countries’ joint cooperation commission. During the meeting which took place on the sidelines of the 62nd United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono also called for the expansion of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

The Iranian president further underscored that support for Indonesia at the international bodies and circles sets Tehran’s policy, while the Indonesian leader voiced Jakarta’s full support for the current cooperation between Iran and the international Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
