Army Commander Warns Enemies against Invasion of Iran

Commander-in-chief of the Islamic Republic’s army Major General Salehi warned that in case the enemies of his country grow insane enough to attack Iran, then they will be surprised. Speaking following a visit to a number of defense projects of the Islamic Republic’s ground force here in Tehran on Friday, the General praised young Iranian experts and scientists for their innovations in different areas of intelligence, operation, health, battle treatment, electronic warfare, etc.

He said Iran’s defense capabilities today are astonishingly beyond what existed prior to the era of the holy defense – i.e. Iraq’s 8 years of imposed war on Iran from 1980 to 1988 – warning that any aggressive move by the enemies will cause them surprise instead of success.
