68 Held on Pak-Iran Border

A0095430.jpgFrontier Corps Balochistan on Thursday arrested 68 people in deserted area of Nokkundi near Pak-Iran border and handed over them to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for further investigation,. The PRO of FC told APP that FC personnel were on routine patrolling when they saw 26 people looking for water in the desert in deplorable condition due to extreme thirst and hunger. These people told that an agent took 50,000 each from them for taking them to Europe.

The FC Jawans asked the address of the agent and went there found the door locked. They broke the lock and entered into it where 42 other people were there who were also in extremely appalling conditions.

The FC men handed them over to FIA authorities after providing water and food. These people belong to Mandi Baha-u-ddin and Sailkot areas of Punjab.
