Sri Lanka’s President Mahinda Rajapaksa is due to pay a visit to Iran on Monday. During the two-day visit, Rajapaksa is scheduled to attend meetings with senior Iranian officials, including President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, to discuss bilateral ties and exchange views about other issues of mutual interest, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini said during his weekly press briefing here on Sunday.
