Iranian Embassy in Turkey Blasts Article by UK’s Miliband

TEHRAN (FNA) Iranian embassy in Ankara reacted angrily to an article last month by British Foreign Secretary David Miliband in the Turkish daily Zaman which argued the need to keep up the pressure on Iran over its nuclear activities.

In a letter which appeared in the daily on Wednesday, Iran’s ambassador to Turkey Qolam Reza Baqeri-Moqaddam described Miliband’s remarks as a “great political deception”.

Baqeri-Moqaddam also took aim at Britain and the United States for their continued military involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan.
