Comoran Envoy Meets Iranian FM

A03625101.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- The first Comoran Ambassador to Tehran Ahmad Mujib Al-Mazouqi submitted a copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki here Saturday.

According to the Foreign Ministry’s Information and Press Department, at the meeting Mottaki expressed pleasure over the establishment of direct diplomatic representation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Federal Islamic Republic of Comoros calling it an important development.

He underlined, “Conditions are ripe for promoting bilateral ties in all fields.”

The new Comoran ambassador in Tehran conveyed greetings from the Comoros president and nation to Iranian officials and nation and underlined, “The Comoros is interested in expanding and consolidating with Iran and my mission to Tehran is in line with this.”
