Iran to Host World’s Tour Operators Fair

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran will host biggest gathering of world’s tour operators.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is preparing to host the biggest exhibition ever of world tour operators between October 2008 and March 2009, a press tv report said.

The Deputy Director of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Organization (ICHTO), Mohammad Sharif Malek Zadeh added that the venue of the fair was agreed upon at the joint commissions held on different occasions between Iran and other interested countries, including Qatar, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Iran will also host the meeting of D-8 tourism ministers in the city of Isfahan in May.
