Iran, Indonesia to Set up Direct Flights

A02321134.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- Iran and Indonesia are to sign a memorandum of understanding to establish direct flights between the two countries, an Iranian official said.

The agreement to establish direct flights between Iran and Indonesia will be signed soon, the official told FNA.

There is currently no direct flight between Iran and Indonesia.

In the meetings of the10th Iran-Indonesia Joint Economic Commission held in June it was decided that officials of the two countries would consider the establishment of direct flights between the two countries.

The volume of trade between Indonesia and Iran has grown considerably in recent years, an indication of the expanding ties between the two countries.
