Ahvaz Oil Pipeline to Resume Operation

A014683210.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- An oil pipeline, which went on fire in the city of Ahvaz in southwestern Iran on Tuesday, will resume operation within the next few hours.

The fire, which broke out in the Kut Abdollah pipeline on Tuesday morning, was put out a few hours after the incident.

The pipeline, which carries oil from Ahvaz to Abadan in the oil-rich Khuzestan province, is currently under repair and will resume operation in a few hours, Shana reported.

Investigations into the possible cause of the fire are underway
