Kuwaiti embassy in Bucharest marks national festivals

BCHAREST, March 1 – The Kuwaiti Embassy in Romania celebrated the 48th and 18th anniversaries of Kuwait’s National Day and Liberation Day, with Ambassador Yaqoub Al-Ateqi attending.

The reception was attended by several senior Romanian officials, party leaders, businessmen, and intellectuals, as well as a large number of Arab and foreign diplomats in Bucharest.

Addressing the ceremony, the Kuwaiti ambassador thanked all the attendees for partaking in the event in order to congratulate Kuwait on the occasion.
He stressed deep cooperative relations between the State of Kuwait and Romania on all levels.

He pointed out Kuwait’s regional role in the reinforcement and promotion of cooperation among Arab countries, pointing to the recent Arab Economic Summit in Kuwait, and stressed the state is keen on a just as important international role too, through cooperation with all friendly states.
