EU, NATO integration are Montenegro’s top priorities

PODGORICA, Montenegro

Democratic Party of Socialists leader Milo Djukanovic presented his new government and its programme to parliament Tuesday (June 9th), citing European and Euro-Atlantic integration as top priorities.

The cabinet will be composed of 17 ministers and three deputy prime ministers and will include both new faces and some familiar ones. Milan Rocen will remain foreign minister and Boro Vucinic stays on as defence minister. Gordana Djurovic will be responsible for European integration. Ivan Brajovic replaces Jusuf Kalamperovic as interior minister. Discussions on Djukanovic’s government programme will continue Wednesday.
