European Parliament will vote on Serbia’s resolution

Members of the European Parliament (EP) are to vote Thursday on the draft resolution on Serbia, worked out by EP rapporteur on the West Balkans, Jelko Kacin.

At yesterday’s sitting of the EP, at which the report on Serbia’s progress was discussion, Kacin called the European Council to set a date for launching the negotiations and expressed hopes that the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina would bring the needed results by the end of the week.

“Reaching an agreement in the dialogue will bear effect on the European integration of both countries and the West Balkans,” Kacin remarked.
