Croatia plans to open embassy in Azerbaijan

Croatia plans to open embassy in Azerbaijan, the delegation led by Speaker of Croatian Parliament Josip Leko said. 

Currently, the two countries are conducting negotiations in this regard. The delegation said that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Leko had already found a political solution to this issue at today’s meeting and the embassy would be opened as soon as possible after solving financial problems. Croatia is represented in Azerbaijan through the consulate, while Azerbaijani embassy has already been operating in Croatia.
