Libyan PM apologizes to Russia over Embassy attack

Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zeidan has officially apologized to Russia for an attack on the Russian embassy in Tripoli.

“Russian authorities received an official apology from Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zeidan for the armed attack at the Russian embassy in Tripoli. Libya condemns the attack and is ready to compensate the damages caused,” Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Ryabkov said.
