US stands with Ukrainians protesting for a future in Europe

The United States stands with the Ukrainians protesting for a future in Europe and the government should listen to the aspirations of its people, Victoria Nuland, Assistant Secretary of State said before the start of OSCE security meeting in Kiev on Thursday.

“We stand with the people of Ukraine who see their future in Europe. We urge the Ukrainian government to listen to the voices of its people who want to live in freedom,” she said.

“This is Ukraine’s moment. To meet the aspirations of the people or to disappoint them and risk descending into chaos and violence,” Nuland added.
