Serbian FM says the country will not join NATO

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivan Mrkic said in Belgrade on Wednesday that Serbia will not join NATO but it will be a reliable and responsible partner.

He made the statement while meeting with NATO ambassadors in Serbia.

Mrkic presented the priorities in Serbia’s security policy, activities and results of cooperation with NATO through the mechanisms of the Partnership for Peace Program and Serbia’s contribution to regional and global security cooperation by participation in EU and UN international peacekeeping missions.
