Blast kills three persons in Istanbul

A suicide female bomber blew up hereself at the tourist police station in the historic Sultanahmet district, downtown Istanbul, on Tuesday.
The blast killed a police officer, beside the assailant, and injured two policemen, including one seriously.
The female bomber pretended of having lost her handbag, approached the tourist police division and blew up herself, the governor told reporters at the site.
The law-enforcers sealed off the area and started investigating the attack for which no militant group claimed responsibility so far, he added.
