President Felicitates Japan on National Day

TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in separate messages to Emperor Akihito and Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda on Sunday extended his congratulations to the Japanese government and nation on the country’s national day.

“I am confident that the age-old relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Japan would continue in interest of the two nations and international peace and security,” Ahmadinejad said in his messages to the Japanese Emperor and premier, a statement released by the Presidential Press Office said.
