TEHRAN (FNA)- The Qatari Emir hopes all Muslim nations particularly Qatar could use Iran’s nuclear achievements to develop their capacities.
“Qatar has always called for cordial ties with Iran and nothing can hinder the expansion of ties between the two countries,” Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani said in his meeting with Iran’s Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi in Doha on Wednesday, press tv reported.
The Qatari Emir stressed that Tehran-Doha ties will not be affected by the enemies’ plots and added that “expansion of economic, political and juridical ties with Iran is on Doha’s agenda.”
For his part, Ayatollah Shahroudi who arrived in Doha on Tuesday for a three-day visit said “the Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes expansion of ties with Islamic countries, including Qatar.”
The Iranian Judiciary Chief expressed hope that the expansion of ties between Iran and Qatar would contribute to the settlement of issues in the region.
