Salman Oil, Gas Field Development Plan Enacted

A00886387.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s special representatives in oil related affairs enacted Salman oil and gas field’s development plan in order to boost Iran’s natural gas, crude oil and gas condensates production capacity.

The development plan will boost the country’s daily production capacity of crude oil, natural gas, and gas condensates by about 50,000 barrels, 500 million cubic feet, and 6000 barrels, respectively.

According to the decision of the President’s special representatives in oil related affairs, USD 1.032 billion was allocated to the development plan of Salman oil and gas field. An MNA report said that the buy back method will be used to finance the plan.

First Vice-President Parviz Davudi has circulated the enactment.
