Albania’s new ambassador to Turkey presents letter of credence

Genc Mucaj, Albania’s new ambassador to Turkey, presented his credentials to President Abdullah Gul on Monday afternoon.

The press was invited to attend the ambassador’s presentation of his credentials to the president.

Turkey and Albania share a centuries-long common history and deep cultural relations from the days of the Ottoman Empire.

The two countries are also NATO allies.
